I took my time and tried out a lot guitars from several different companies. I was never truly satisfied until I played a Washburn Pilsen Idol. I immediately ordered 2 more and took them on the road for the ultimate test.
Meanwhile, the masters in the Washburn custom shop began building me guitars to all my specifications. These guitars held their ground on tour. And I recently tracked the new Sevendust record using my Washburn custom guitars.
